Gold Anodized Kool Caps New GEN 1.1 For 20" Standard Tuff Wheel II wheels. (NON-Graphite models) Kool Caps are a product designed to easily make the modernized new school 20" Skyway Graphite Tuff Wheels, and Tuff Wheel II's, look like the original Graphite Skyway Tuff Wheels from the early 1980's. Allowing riders to preserve expensive original wheels, while remaining old school cool. Gen 1.1 Kool Caps: Are: Gen I Kool Caps evolved.

Designed to emulate the original 20" inch Graphite Tuff wheels of circa '79 to '81. Which had genuine Campagnolo precision loose ball hubs installed on them.

Generation 1.1

Kool Caps: All of the latest Gen I Kool Caps have undergone additional machining processes. They are all completely plug and play now. Modification to the front wheel is no longer required to install Gen 1.1 Kool Caps onto current 20" inch Zytel Nylon Tuff Wheel II's.

One complete set of 4, enough to do one bike. These are easily installed with clear, or black, 100% silicone sealant. And they will not come loose under any amount of thrashing! If your 20" inch front Tuff Wheel II hubs look exatly like the front hub shown in the Ad photo. And, your wheels have plastic completely surrounding a much smaller front metal hub. Then, this is the correct set. If your wheels are 20" Black Graphite wheels with gold hubs. Or, (rare) silver convertible metal hubs, front and rear) then The the original Gen I Kool Caps, for " Graphite Wheels only ", is available in another auction. Kool Caps are NOT designed to fit onto 24" wheels! In some cases, depending on which version of 24" wheels you have, and your level of skill and ingenuity, they can sometimes be made to work on them nicely.
